We believe mindfulness, whole body fitness and yoga helps participants to build life skills that support good health and happiness. Our creative, fun and engaging classes provide opportunities for self-awareness, emotional regulation, focus, empathy, inner confidence, self respect and kindness to name a few.
Through our youth yoga classes, participants will practice age appropriate breathing exercises, yoga poses, games, visualizations, and relaxation activities. Within the Action Wellness program you'll find classes for a wide variety of students catering to the individual needs of each participant. in every class, curriculum is designed to empower, build participants strength and confidence. Youth wellness classes may be combined with other Action Academy classes or taken individually. Whether it is for cross training, increased flexibility, empowerment or mindfulness, our mission is to support, encourage and empower the next generation with the skills and tools to navigate this world. It is our goal to help youth participants build authentic confidence and lead boldly in their lives, schools and communities around them.

A yoga class for the whole family! This 1 hour class is appropriate for babies, toddlers, kids, parents, grandparents and caregivers; all are welcome! Classes will flow and change in the moment with our highly trained and experienced teachers effortlessly designing classes to the needs of the students present, and offering redirection when needed. Each class is a part, yoga, circuit training, part dance party, this class is designed to give all participants a fun, well-rounded workout, with a fun "dance party" during the second half where everyone is invited to join in a (cardio-focused) dance that keeps the parent's heart rates up (and sneakily works on gross-motor development for the kiddos)! Class ends with yoga based stretches, mindfulness and much needed end of the day reset.

Wiggle Warrior classes are themed to keep children engaged; class time varies from 35 - 45 min depending on the age group. Music and props are used for a fun and entertaining class as well as bestowing the deeper benefits of yoga to children. Classes consist of physical movement by practicing age appropriate yoga poses to improve balance, focus and strengthen little growing bodies.
Various breathing techniques and exercises are practiced helping little warriors deal with their day to day life and manage stresses and emotions that go hand in hand with growing up.
The conclusion of class includes age appropriate relaxation/meditation time to help kids leave feeling more refreshed, connected, relaxed and better equipped to be happy and confident little human beings.

Little Warrior classes are themed to keep the children engaged; Classes are 45 min and consist of physical movement by practicing age appropriate yoga postures to improve flexibility, mobility in the joints and strengthen their growing bodies. Each class is designed to increase focus, flexibility, restore balance and strengthen core muscles that stabilize the body and support the spine. Various breathing techniques and exercises are practiced helping children deal with their day to day life and manage age appropriate stresses and emotions that go hand in hand with growing up. The conclusion of class includes age appropriate relaxation/meditation time to help kids leave feeling more refreshed, connected, relaxed and better equipped to be happy and confident human beings.

YOGA 4 ATHLETYES 7 & UP
Yoga for Athletes is a 1 hour class specially designed for athletes ages who strive to prepare their bodies and minds for peak performance in athletics and performance endeavors such as gymnastics, dance, soccer, football, baseball/softball, volleyball, ice hockey, track & field, golf, field hockey, tennis, martial arts and more. Students will gain physical and mental strength, flexibility, and improve coordination and balance while developing skills to manage stress, improve focus and concentration. Through yoga-based movement and breath awareness, students will cultivate self-awareness and interconnectedness in an accepting, non-judgmental environment. Class will end with 8-10-minute quiet relaxation to promote integration and an overall sense of peace and well-being.

STRENGTH​
Designed to build a strong foundation of both athletic and motivational skills that apply in and out of the gym, our youth programs help students develop coordination, agility, speed and whole body strength. Each class features specific obstacles that are tailored for the class's ages and abilities. Our coaching team works hard to improve each athlete’s physical abilities as well as building strong mental fortitude and healthy habits in a positive environment.
CONFIDENCE​
Our Fitness Development Program is designed to help bring out young athlete's full potential. It’s for the beginner looking to learn the basics and train safely, and for intermediate and seasoned athletes looking to develop their current skill set and take their abilities to the next level. Students focus on dynamic full body movements that build coordination, athletic ability and confidence combined with the positive influence of fitness professionals.

NINJA FITNESS 7 & UP
Obstacle Run is a combination fitness class that incorporates
climbing and grip strength , the fundamental tools needed to be successful on many Ninja obstacles. Athlete's work on developing climbing skills, finger strength, rope climbing, wall climb ups, and many other skills. Learn the best ways to complete these obstacles and how to be efficient moving between multiple obstacles. Classes are designed to teach the skills needed to progress in the sport of Ninja while getting a great workout and having fun at the same time. Our coaching team works hard to improve our student’s physical skill as well as building strong mental fortitude. This program also includes full-body conditioning work at the end of class to maximize results.

TEEN FITNESS 12 & UP
Teen athletes experience camaraderie and team-building in a safe, supportive, and high-energy environment. Coach-to-athlete ratios are optimized for individual instruction and attention.
Our teen strength-and-conditioning program includes cardiovascular training, HIIT circuits, plyometrics, footwork drills, and more; core strength and competency in body-weight movements through pull-ups, pushups, and overhead; and strength development using weights and other resistance work. We prioritize proper movement mechanics to optimize safety and efficiency in our athletes. Our emphasis is on overall strength and conditioning for all athletes in a variety of specialized classes for each individual's preference.

Action Academy has the unique ability to create customized, core performance programs for young athletes, private club teams, Junior and school teams. Curriculum is designed to enhance specific areas of performance, strengthen areas of weakness, and/or reduce injury potential. Each program requires a one month/eight workout commitment and an enrollment minimum of 10 participants. Enrollment based programs ensure an appropriate progression of its participants and continued open communication with the head coach or director of the team program.
The program’s focus on progressive development of movement quality, consistency and intensity ensure kids of all ability levels can participate and have fun.
